If you're having a new mattress delivered, California law requires your retailer to offer to take back your old mattress at no additional cost. The retailer has up to 30 days to take back your old mattress, and they can turn it down if it's a health or safety risk. Worth asking before you pay anyone — including us — to haul it away.

These are EDCO Waste and Disposal Corp. provides solid waste collection and disposal services for residential and commercial customers in the City of Del Mar.'s requirements, not ours — they apply if you're putting the mattress out for the city rather than booking a pickup with us.
- Mattresses (please wrap prior to setting out - special mattress disposal bags can be purchased at hardware stores, i.e. Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc.).
- Set out your item at the curb or the end of your driveway by 6:00 a.m.
- You get up to five items each pick-up per address.
- On what they won't take at the curb: construction material will NOT be collected.
