2. Can you take a mattress to the landfill near Lemon Grove?

   You can, but check the price first — it is usually more than a pickup costs. Republic Services – Sycamore Landfill in Santee does take mattresses — free drop-off for residents. Fees will apply if mattresses and box springs are brought in with other items. Either way you need a truck and the drive out to Santee, and a pickup from us is $89 and comes to you.
