Mattress removal in Boulder, CO

Booking takes about a minute. Pick your items and a pickup day, put the mattress out that morning, and we'll load it and take it away. Most of our Boulder pickups are curbside, so there's nothing to wrap and no trip to make.

From there it goes to our local recycling facility, where our team takes it apart by hand. The foam gets baled for carpet padding, the steel springs go to scrap processors, and box-spring wood gets chipped. Here's the whole process if you want to see it.

How it works

  1. Book online.

Pick your items and a pickup day. Takes about a minute, and you see the price before you confirm.

  2. Put it at the curb.

  3. We arrive.

Our team shows up in your window and texts you when they're about thirty minutes out.

  4. We recycle it.

Your mattress goes to our local recycling facility and gets taken apart by hand. You'll get a confirmation once it's done.

Boulder and Colorado mattress disposal rules

Booking with us? You can skip this part. Everything below is for handling it yourself — Boulder's rules, the fees and the drop-off options. If we're doing the pickup, the regulations and the recycling are ours to deal with: you leave it at the curb and we take it from there.

  1. Can you take a mattress to the landfill near Boulder?

You can, but check the price first — it is usually more than a pickup costs. Front Range Landfill in Erie does take mattresses, at $74.00, and there's a minimum charge of $141.00 for a car just to tip. All uncovered or unsecured loads will be charged double. Either way you need a truck and the drive out to Erie, and a pickup from us is $89 and comes to you.

There's no city pickup to wait for

The City of Boulder does not provide municipal waste hauling. There are several haulers operating in Boulder and the city encourages customers to ask for cost estimates from multiple companies. So the choice here is a private hauler, or loading it yourself.
