Mattress removal in Deltona, FL

Booking takes about a minute. Pick your items and a pickup day, put the mattress out that morning, and we'll load it and take it away. Most of our Deltona pickups are curbside, so there's nothing to wrap and no trip to make.

From there it goes to our local recycling facility, where our team takes it apart by hand. The foam gets baled for carpet padding, the steel springs go to scrap processors, and box-spring wood gets chipped. Here's the whole process if you want to see it.

How it works

Deltona and Florida mattress disposal rules

Booking with us? You can skip this part. Everything below is for handling it yourself — Deltona's rules, the fees and the drop-off options. If we're doing the pickup, the regulations and the recycling are ours to deal with: you leave it at the curb and we take it from there.

  1. What Deltona asks for if you use city pickup

These are Waste Pro's requirements, not ours — they apply if you're putting the mattress out for the city rather than booking a pickup with us.

    • Household garbage, bulk and yard waste trash must be at the point of collection no later than 6 a.m. on the designated pick-up day.
    • All Materials meant for collection (household garbage, bulk or yard waste) must be at the curb by 6 am on the proper pick-up day and removed no later than 9 pm on collection day.
    • Where to put it: do not place bins or bulk items within three feet of objects such as mailboxes, parked vehicles, fire hydrants, trees or poles.
    • Bulky items are limited to four pieces per week.
    • Their accepted list is items such as sinks, countertops, doors, shelving, furniture and fencing may be placed at the curb for pick-up. — it doesn't name mattresses either way, so ask before you put one out.
    • Along with large items, the total amount of trash Waste Pro is able to collect every week per household: is three trashcans and 6 large trash bags.
    • On what they won't take at the curb: construction debris is not considered bulk waste.

  2. Can you take a mattress to the landfill near Deltona?
