   • You may not put your material out in the right of way for collection more than 24 hours in advance of your service.
   • Bulk waste includes large household items such as furniture, mattresses, appliances, bicycles, and similar goods. are on the accepted list, so the mattress itself is not the problem — the booking is.
   • On what they won't take at the curb: motor vehicles, trailers, or other types of machinery or equipment, highly flammable substances, hazardous waste, sludge, pathological and biological wastes, liquid wastes, sewage, manure, feces , explosives and ordnance materials, radioactive materials, construction and demolition material, rocks, and soil.

2. Can you take a mattress to the landfill near Hollywood?

   Broward County Landfill in Unincorporated Broward County is the nearest landfill, but its page doesn't say whether it takes mattresses — its gate rate is Waste Delivered by Residential Customers in Passenger Vehicles $10.00 per vehicle. Call before you load up. Either way you need a truck and the drive out to Unincorporated Broward County, and a pickup from us is $89 and comes to you.
