Mattress removal in Augusta, ME
Booking takes about a minute. Pick your items and a pickup day, put the mattress out that morning, and we'll load it and take it away. Most of our Augusta pickups are curbside, so there's nothing to wrap and no trip to make.
From there it goes to our local recycling facility, where our team takes it apart by hand. The foam gets baled for carpet padding, the steel springs go to scrap processors, and box-spring wood gets chipped. Here's the whole process if you want to see it.

What Augusta asks for if you use city pickup
These are City of Augusta's requirements, not ours — they apply if you're putting the mattress out for the city rather than booking a pickup with us.
- Clean-Up services are available only to households currently receiving City curbside collection – no business waste will be accepted.
- All items must be placed curbside by 7:00 a.m. on the scheduled day.
- Limit for one (1) unit of BULKY FURNITURE ITEMS: Two (2) large items.
- Residents must register before their scheduled collection date.
- Two (2) large items such as couches, mattresses, beds, carpets, plastic toys or patio furniture, etc. are on the accepted list, so the mattress itself is not the problem — the booking is.
- On what they won't take at the curb: televisions, Computer Monitors, Fluorescent light bulbs and any items containing mercury, tires & vehicle batteries.
