Mattress removal in Biloxi, MS

Booking takes about a minute. Pick your items and a pickup day, put the mattress out that morning, and we'll load it and take it away. Most of our Biloxi pickups are curbside, so there's nothing to wrap and no trip to make.

From there it goes to our local recycling facility, where our team takes it apart by hand. The foam gets baled for carpet padding, the steel springs go to scrap processors, and box-spring wood gets chipped. Here's the whole process if you want to see it.

How it works

  1. Book online.

Pick your items and a pickup day. Takes about a minute, and you see the price before you confirm.

  2. Put it at the curb.

Leave it out on your pickup day. No bagging, no wrapping, no plastic required.

  3. We arrive.

Our team shows up in your window and texts you when they're about thirty minutes out.

  4. We recycle it.

Your mattress goes to our local recycling facility and gets taken apart by hand. You'll get a confirmation once it's done.

Biloxi and Mississippi mattress disposal rules

Booking with us? You can skip this part. Everything below is for handling it yourself — Biloxi's rules, the fees and the drop-off options. If we're doing the pickup, the regulations and the recycling are ours to deal with: you leave it at the curb and we take it from there.

  1. What Biloxi asks for if you use city pickup

These are Pelican Waste's requirements, not ours — they apply if you're putting the mattress out for the city rather than booking a pickup with us.

    • All leaves and grass should be bagged.
    • Carts should be placed outside by 6 am on your day of service.
    • Where to put it: it should be placed at least five feet from vehicles, shrubbery, fire hydrants, mailboxes, etc.
    • Their accepted list is trash (limbs, clippings, bulky items like furniture, etc) should be placed by the curbside. — it doesn't name mattresses either way, so ask before you put one out.
    • On what they won't take at the curb: unbagged garbage or recycling outside the carts will not be picked up.

HCUA has a dedicated phone number to handle all customer service-related calls – (228) 701-9086. Simply follow the automated prompts for the service type you are calling about.
