Mattress removal in St. Peters, MO

Booking takes about a minute. Pick your items and a pickup day, put the mattress out that morning, and we'll load it and take it away. Most of our St. Peters pickups are curbside, so there's nothing to wrap and no trip to make.

From there it goes to our local recycling facility, where our team takes it apart by hand. The foam gets baled for carpet padding, the steel springs go to scrap processors, and box-spring wood gets chipped. Here's the whole process if you want to see it.

St. Peters and Missouri mattress disposal rules

Booking with us? You can skip this part. Everything below is for handling it yourself — St. Peters's rules, the fees and the drop-off options. If we're doing the pickup, the regulations and the recycling are ours to deal with: you leave it at the curb and we take it from there.

  1. What St. Peters asks for if you use city pickup

These are Solid Waste Services' requirements, not ours — they apply if you're putting the mattress out for the city rather than booking a pickup with us.

    • Residents may set out either bulky trash or bulky yard waste — not both at the same time.
    • Place items at the curb no later than 6:30 a.m. the day of the pickup, and no earlier than 6 p.m. the night before the pickup.
    • Where to put it: everything must be placed at least 4 feet away from any obstructions such as cars, mailboxes, or trees so the automatic arm has room to maneuver safely when picking up your items.
    • The maximum amount of bulky items that you can set out for no charge during your scheduled Bulky collection date is 3 cubic yards.
    • Schedule your Bulky Collection early to reserve your service date!.
    • Furniture Doors Mattresses Swing Sets (disassembled) Furnaces are on the accepted list, so the mattress itself is not the problem — the booking is.
    • On what they won't take at the curb: Commercial Wastes Hazardous Wastes Concrete Tires and Car Batteries Liquids (i.e. paints, motor oil, solvents, etc.) Yard waste bags Fiberglass boats Any item longer than 8 feet Any items that can normally be placed inside the trash container.
