   • Set out carts at the curb on collection day by 7 a.m.
   • Residents can also dispose of one standard pickup truck load of waste (3 cubic yards) at the transfer stations four times per year at no additional cost.
   • During the months of May and November residential customers in Sparks may leave an additional six bags, boxes or bundles (not to exceed 3’ x 3’ x 3’ and 50 pounds) outside the container on their service day without using an excess waste sticker.

2. Can you take a mattress to the landfill near Sparks?

   Lockwood Regional Landfill in Sparks is the nearest landfill, but its page doesn't say whether it takes mattresses. Call before you load up. Customers must show a recent WM service bill (or have identification matching the service address on their bill) and be current in their payments. Either way you need a truck and the drive out to Sparks, and a pickup from us is $89 and comes to you.
