Mattress removal in Farmington, NM

Booking takes about a minute. Pick your items and a pickup day, put the mattress out that morning, and we'll load it and take it away. Most of our Farmington pickups are curbside, so there's nothing to wrap and no trip to make.

From there it goes to our local recycling facility, where our team takes it apart by hand. The foam gets baled for carpet padding, the steel springs go to scrap processors, and box-spring wood gets chipped. Here's the whole process if you want to see it.

How it works

  1. Book online.

Pick your items and a pickup day. Takes about a minute, and you see the price before you confirm.

  3. We arrive.

Our team shows up in your window and texts you when they're about thirty minutes out.

  4. We recycle it.

Your mattress goes to our local recycling facility and gets taken apart by hand. You'll get a confirmation once it's done.

Farmington and New Mexico mattress disposal rules

Booking with us? You can skip this part. Everything below is for handling it yourself — Farmington's rules, the fees and the drop-off options. If we're doing the pickup, the regulations and the recycling are ours to deal with: you leave it at the curb and we take it from there.

  1. What Farmington asks for if you use city pickup

These are Waste Management's requirements, not ours — they apply if you're putting the mattress out for the city rather than booking a pickup with us.

    • Tree trimmings, green waste, area rugs or carpet must be less than four feet in length and bundled, weighing no more than 75 pounds; Limit of 2-yards per collection (equal to about four trash carts).
    • For each appointment, you can dispose of up to three items.
    • On what they won't take at the curb: construction debris, rocks, concrete, tires, and large pieces of metal (such as car parts) and hazardous waste are not considered bulk items.

  2. Can you take a mattress to the landfill near Farmington?

San Juan County Regional Landfill in Aztec is the nearest landfill, but its page doesn't say whether it takes mattresses. Call before you load up. Call ahead to confirm the conditions and that the scale house is open. Either way you need a truck and the drive out to Aztec, and a pickup from us is $89 and comes to you.
