Mattress removal in Rochester, NY
Booking takes about a minute. Pick your items and a pickup day, put the mattress out that morning, and we'll load it and take it away. Most of our Rochester pickups are curbside, so there's nothing to wrap and no trip to make.
From there it goes to our local recycling facility, where our team takes it apart by hand. The foam gets baled for carpet padding, the steel springs go to scrap processors, and box-spring wood gets chipped. Here's the whole process if you want to see it.

What Rochester asks for if you use city pickup
These are City of Rochester's requirements, not ours — they apply if you're putting the mattress out for the city rather than booking a pickup with us.
- Doors must be removed from refrigerators and other appliances with latches.
- The refuse container is to be placed at the curb, along with bulk items and recyclable materials, by 6:30 a.m. on the regular refuse collection day.
- Where to put it: all containers must be removed from the area between the sidewalk and curb within 24 hours after collection and returned to the rear or side yard of the premises.
- The placement of refuse for collection in front of a premise other than the premise at which the refuse originated constitutes illegal dumping, and is prohibited.
- Refuse containers should never be placed out sooner than the night before collection.
- The maximum weight limit per alternate container is 60 pounds.
- On what they won't take at the curb: The City does not collect radioactive, volatile, highly flammable, explosive, biomedical, infectious, toxic, or hazardous material.
