2. Can you take a mattress to the landfill near Burlington?

   You can, but check the price first — it is usually more than a pickup costs. Alamance County Landfill in Graham does take mattresses — mattress: $5.00 each (all sizes) per mattress or box spring. Industrial/Commercial Garbage, Large Loads of Residential Garbage, Construction Debris, Yard Waste/Brush, Tires and Metal are only accepted during scale operational hours. Either way you need a truck and the drive out to Graham, and a pickup from us is $89 and comes to you.
