Mattress removal in Apex, NC

Booking takes about a minute. Pick your items and a pickup day, put the mattress out that morning, and we'll load it and take it away. Most of our Apex pickups are curbside, so there's nothing to wrap and no trip to make.

From there it goes to our local recycling facility, where our team takes it apart by hand. The foam gets baled for carpet padding, the steel springs go to scrap processors, and box-spring wood gets chipped. Here's the whole process if you want to see it.

How it works

  1. Book online.

Pick your items and a pickup day. Takes about a minute, and you see the price before you confirm.

  2. Put it at the curb.

  3. We arrive.

Our team shows up in your window and texts you when they're about thirty minutes out.

  4. We recycle it.

Your mattress goes to our local recycling facility and gets taken apart by hand. You'll get a confirmation once it's done.

Apex and North Carolina mattress disposal rules

Booking with us? You can skip this part. Everything below is for handling it yourself — Apex's rules, the fees and the drop-off options. If we're doing the pickup, the regulations and the recycling are ours to deal with: you leave it at the curb and we take it from there.

  1. What Apex asks for if you use city pickup

These are The town's Public Works Department offers the Bulk Item collection service to remove large household items from the curb, for a fee.'s requirements, not ours — they apply if you're putting the mattress out for the city rather than booking a pickup with us.

    • Please place fragile / breakable items (like toilets, mirrors, etc.) into a box, or wrap with plastic, to contain any pieces that may break during collection.
    • All items must be placed at the curb by 6 am on the scheduled pickup day.
    • Where to put it: staff will not enter private property, so items cannot be placed anywhere except for the curb.
    • If you have additional items, they will be scheduled for collection on a separate day.
    • You will receive an email within 1-2 business days with your scheduled collection day.
    • On what they won't take at the curb: construction, demolition, and remodeling materials (including toilets, vanities, mirrors & cabinets).
