- Items resulting from an eviction, set-out, or foreclosure will not be collected.
- Bags, boxes, storage tubs, luggage and/or open containers of trash are not considered bulk.

2566 Jackson Pike Columbus, OH 43223. Open Monday-Friday: 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Limit: Mattresses must adhere to SWACO's published guidelines. Through November 30, 2026, SWACO will accept all sizes of box springs and mattresses (no waterbeds), but they must be dry and free of bedbugs, mold, blood, or other excessive staining. This Center is for Franklin County residents' use only and there are fees for some items. Note that SWACO reserves the right to refuse mattresses for recycling should they not meet those guidelines. The FCSL accepts general solid waste, including furniture, carpeting, and general household trash. Any customer hand unloading at the working face of the landfill must be checked in at the landfill scale house thirty (30) minutes before the posted closing time. No bulk items will be collected unless the resident schedules collection online through 311 or calls (614) 645-3111. The City of Columbus will pick up many bulk items as a free service to its residents. It does name mattresses.
