Mattress removal in Bethlehem, PA

Booking takes about a minute. Pick your items and a pickup day, put the mattress out that morning, and we'll load it and take it away. Most of our Bethlehem pickups are curbside, so there's nothing to wrap and no trip to make.

From there it goes to our local recycling facility, where our team takes it apart by hand. The foam gets baled for carpet padding, the steel springs go to scrap processors, and box-spring wood gets chipped. Here's the whole process if you want to see it.

How it works

  1. Book online.

Pick your items and a pickup day. Takes about a minute, and you see the price before you confirm.

  2. Put it at the curb.

Leave it out on your pickup day. No bagging, no wrapping, no plastic required.

  3. We arrive.

Our team shows up in your window and texts you when they're about thirty minutes out.

  4. We recycle it.

Your mattress goes to our local recycling facility and gets taken apart by hand. You'll get a confirmation once it's done.

Bethlehem and Pennsylvania mattress disposal rules

Booking with us? You can skip this part. Everything below is for handling it yourself — Bethlehem's rules, the fees and the drop-off options. If we're doing the pickup, the regulations and the recycling are ours to deal with: you leave it at the curb and we take it from there.

  1. What Bethlehem asks for

These are Bethlehem's requirements, not ours.

    • With prior approval from the City Department of Health, rubbish not fitting into an approved container shall be tightly bundled, with the maximum length of the bundle not to exceed three feet and the maximum width not to exceed three feet.
    • No earlier than 6:00 PM on the day preceding a collection day, containers may be placed anywhere on the property except that they cannot be placed within 5 feet of the public right of way.
    • Where to put it: containers shall be returned to a place no more than five feet from the front, rear or sides of a building no later than 8:00 PM on the collection day.
    • No owner, lessee, tenant, householder or any other person shall deposit, throw, place or cause to be deposited, thrown or placed, any solid waste on any street, private alley or vacant lot, public areas and waterways, both natural and man-made, within the City limits.

Solid waste collection shall be on a six (6) day per week basis (Monday through Saturday). Shall take place between the hours of 5:00 AM and 4:00 PM on south side of the City, and between the hours of 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM on the north side of the City.
