Mattress removal in Anderson, SC

Booking takes about a minute. Pick your items and a pickup day, put the mattress out that morning, and we'll load it and take it away. Most of our Anderson pickups are curbside, so there's nothing to wrap and no trip to make.

From there it goes to our local recycling facility, where our team takes it apart by hand. The foam gets baled for carpet padding, the steel springs go to scrap processors, and box-spring wood gets chipped. Here's the whole process if you want to see it.

How it works

Anderson and South Carolina mattress disposal rules

Booking with us? You can skip this part. Everything below is for handling it yourself — Anderson's rules, the fees and the drop-off options. If we're doing the pickup, the regulations and the recycling are ours to deal with: you leave it at the curb and we take it from there.

  1. What Anderson asks for if you use city pickup

These are City of Anderson's requirements, not ours — they apply if you're putting the mattress out for the city rather than booking a pickup with us.

    • In order to provide this service effectively, efficiently, and according to the regulations, you must separate your trash. There are four categories of trash.
    • Paper products and household garbage: Boxes, bags, paper products, household garbage, glass, cups, and plastic bottles are considered garbage and must be bagged and placed in a city-owned and approved garbage cart for collection on your scheduled collection day.
    • Hidden and obstructed mixed trash can result in extra costs to repair damaged equipment or nonacceptance at the landfill.
    • Their accepted list is furniture, floor coverings, bathroom fixtures: These items may be piled together; do not bag or box these items; keep them free of plastic, garbage, or paper. — it doesn't name mattresses either way, so ask before you put one out.
    • On what they won't take at the curb: paint cans cannot be placed in garbage carts.
