2. Can you take a mattress to the landfill near Carrollton?

   You can, but check the price first — it is usually more than a pickup costs. Camelot Landfill in Lewisville does take mattresses, at $18. Materials for drop-off must be covered by a tarp or tied down or they will be rejected. Either way you need a truck and the drive out to Lewisville, and a pickup from us is $89 and comes to you.
