Mattress removal in Fort Worth, TX

Booking takes about a minute. Pick your items and a pickup day, put the mattress out that morning, and we'll load it and take it away. Most of our Fort Worth pickups are curbside, so there's nothing to wrap and no trip to make.

From there it goes to our local recycling facility, where our team takes it apart by hand. The foam gets baled for carpet padding, the steel springs go to scrap processors, and box-spring wood gets chipped. Here's the whole process if you want to see it.

How it works

  1. Book online.

Pick your items and a pickup day. Takes about a minute, and you see the price before you confirm.

  2. Put it at the curb.

Leave it out on your pickup day. No bagging, no wrapping, no plastic required.

  3. We arrive.

Our team shows up in your window and texts you when they're about thirty minutes out.

  4. We recycle it.

Your mattress goes to our local recycling facility and gets taken apart by hand. You'll get a confirmation once it's done.

Fort Worth and Texas mattress disposal rules

Booking with us? You can skip this part. Everything below is for handling it yourself — Fort Worth's rules, the fees and the drop-off options. If we're doing the pickup, the regulations and the recycling are ours to deal with: you leave it at the curb and we take it from there.

  1. What Fort Worth asks for if you use city pickup

These are City of Fort Worth's requirements, not ours — they apply if you're putting the mattress out for the city rather than booking a pickup with us.

    • Out-of-cycle and contaminated bulky waste pile collection rates are as follows: $123.52 per 5 cubic yards and $107.40 per 5 cubic yards thereafter, up to 30 cubic yards ($123.52 minimum fee charged to household).
    • All bulk waste piles need to be set out by 7 a.m. on the Monday of your assigned bulk collection week.
    • Where to put it: a bulk pile must be at least two feet away from trees, mailboxes, water meters, fences or other obstructions or it will not be collected.
    • Bulky item pick-up is limited to 10 cubic yards (about eight feet long, six feet wide and six feet tall).
    • Items may be placed on the curb as early as 6 p.m. the Friday before the assigned week.
    • Their accepted list is items that are too large, heavy or bulky to fit in the brown garbage cart for normal garbage pickup — it doesn't name mattresses either way, so ask before you put one out.
    • Only one pile per household is allowed.
    • On what they won't take at the curb: no contractor remodeling and demolition debris such as shingles, wallboard and lumber.
