Mattress removal in Garland, TX
Booking takes about a minute. Pick your items and a pickup day, put the mattress out that morning, and we'll load it and take it away. Most of our Garland pickups are curbside, so there's nothing to wrap and no trip to make.
From there it goes to our local recycling facility, where our team takes it apart by hand. The foam gets baled for carpet padding, the steel springs go to scrap processors, and box-spring wood gets chipped. Here's the whole process if you want to see it.

What Garland asks for if you use city pickup
These are Garland Sanitation's requirements, not ours — they apply if you're putting the mattress out for the city rather than booking a pickup with us.
- Brush should not be mixed with other bulky waste such as mattresses and furniture.
- Bulky items may only be placed at curbside one day prior to the scheduled collection day, no earlier than 6 p.m. and shall not be mixed with any other solid waste.
- Where to put it: brush, bulky waste, appliances and bagged grass and leaves should be set out in separate, distinct piles that are at least four feet apart.
- Individual items weighing more than 40 pounds will not be collected.
- On what they won't take at the curb: no masonry, asphalt, concrete, rocks, tires, dirt, or pallets will be picked up at the curb.

What Garland Sanitation says about collection
Brush and bulky waste is collected weekly on the same day as your green trash cart. If your materials were not collected, please use eAssist or contact us at 972-205-3500. It does name mattresses.
