2. Can you take a mattress to the landfill near West Jordan?

   You can, but check the price first — it is usually more than a pickup costs. Trans-Jordan Landfill in South Jordan does take mattresses, at $15.00 for each piece (over 3 in a load) per mattress or box spring, and there's a minimum charge of $15.00 minimum for non-commercial vehicles just to tip. Uncovered loads (not fully tarped and fully secured) will be charged a PENALTY fee (equal to the standard rate). Either way you need a truck and the drive out to South Jordan, and a pickup from us is $89 and comes to you.
