These are City of Suffolk's requirements, not ours — they apply if you're putting the mattress out for the city rather than booking a pickup with us.

- Items should be placed curbside no earlier than 24 hours before your regular collection day.
- You get up to 12 special pickups per service year, which runs from July 1 through June 30 per address.
- Residents do not need to schedule a Special Pick-up.
- Appliances Boxes Debris Furniture Mattresses Yard waste are on the accepted list, so the mattress itself is not the problem — the booking is.
- On what they won't take at the curb: household trash bags will not be collected as part of Special Pick-Up service.
