2. Can you take a mattress to the landfill near Middleton?

   You can, but check the price first — it is usually more than a pickup costs. Dane County Landfill in Madison does take mattresses, at 0 - 500 lbs $15.03. All loads must be secured with tie downs, a tarp or enclosed in a vehicle. Exposed loads will not be accepted. Either way you need a truck and the drive out to Madison, and a pickup from us is $89 and comes to you.
